Oh, I'm just a girl trying to find a place in this world
I don't know what I want, so don't ask me 'Cause I'm still trying to figure it out
Hello friends, family, & fellow readers! (okay I know it’s just the 4 of you I was allowed to subscribe by Substack, ily, pls don’t unsubscribe!)
Alexander told me to start a Substack years ago, and it pains me to give him “told you so” privileges. I figured it’s best to just do the dang thing and if it sucks or flops or steals my soul, I’m no worse off than I would be if I hadn’t started it. And if it takes off (is that a thing?), fulfills me, or simply gives me writing samples for future job applications, it’s a net win!
What to expect…
I’m not sure what I’ll write about here; I imagine it’ll bounce around like my brain and my interests. But I think it’s safe to say you can expect musing on books, tv shows, movies, (possibly politics if I’m feeling frisky), and maybe some lifestyle and body-acceptance content too. Because why limit myself?!
It may just become a [public] journal where I catalog my experiences with a career pivot (do I even have a career to pivot? Oooh! That’s an idea for a post!), endeavoring to get my picture book published, starting a YouTube channel (aspirational at this point), and maybe even dating in a plus size body (don’t call me to discuss, Mom).
tl;dr: you’ll know when I do! 🙃
Get to know me!

If you want to check out any of my favorite books, please consider using my affiliate link (real influencer sh*t) (tbh, I’ve never used this before…. so please buy something so we can test it out 😉) I think an Amazon Storefront would be easier, but I want to support my favorite independent book store!!!
[P.S. if you clicked the link on “steals my soul,” you’re my kind of chaotic]
