SOS! I need YOUR recommendations!
Long limbs and frozen swims, you’d always go past where our feet could touch
My “never have I ever” game is about to suffer a major L. By this time next week, I will no longer be able to claim “never have I ever been to the Caribbean” nor will I be eligible for the classic “never have I ever been on a cruise.”
If you’ve been following along with my life at all, you are aware of my 2024 Reading Goal predicament. As of writing this I have to finish another 31 books in December to hit 100 this year.
In an ideal world, this 10 day cruise will be a paradise at sea for plowing through books. I’d love to spend our several days “at sea” reading my kindle on the catamaran or poolside and listening to audiobooks sea-side on the walking track.
Regardless of how “delulu” my quantity goal is, I’m in desperate search of quality!
Please hit me with all your quick & easy book recs to help push me to the finish line.
I’m looking for easy and fun reads for this trip. I’m going to load my kindle and phone so I am prepared for any reading mood regardless of the wifi situation. (I’ve been told Virgin’s wifi is more reliable than a typical cruise ship’s, but I’ll be stocked up just in case.)
I have $16.31 in No Rush Digital Rewards expiring 12/15 on Amazon, so it’s time to buy a few Kindle books anyway. GIVE ME YOUR RECS! [Here is the link to check the balance and expiration dates for your No Rush Digital Rewards. it’s not easy to find, and they do expire. Make sure and buy movies or eBooks with them.]
Please hit me up with all your recs!
From my current library, these are the books I’ll bring on the ship and hope to make progress through. As you can see I am not above including short stories at this point.
Long Story Longer:
I’m going on my first cruise and would love all the recommendations you can spare for what to read, pack, and expect to get the most out of this escape.
